When Kade Kent of Buffalo, Oklahoma attended one of Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma’s spring customer appreciation events, he was simply there to enjoy the annual tradition. What he didn’t know was that his visit would eventually make him the proud winner of a 2026 Polaris Ranger XP 1000. After all seven appreciation events wrapped up, FCWO held a final drawing — and Kade’s name rose to the top.
Each spring, FCWO celebrates its cooperative spirit by returning profits to the people who make the organization strong: its customers. This year, those customers collectively received $12.3 million in patronage refunds, marking another year of shared success and financial strength.
“Farm Credit is not just another lender. We are a cooperative, owned by our shareholders instead of outside investors,” said Greg Livingston, FCWO Chief Executive Officer. “That means profits go back to the people we serve through patronage dividends, and that helps lower the cost of borrowing.”
Since 1998, FCWO has returned an impressive $111.5 million to its members — a reflection of decades of partnership with the farmers, ranchers, and rural families who keep Western Oklahoma thriving.
But the patronage checks and prize drawings are only part of the story.
“At Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma, we do more than write loans,” Livingston said. “We build relationships, offer perspective, and stand by our shareholders through every season. Our team understands the work, the risk, and the pride that comes with rural life. We are proud to be part of the past and future of Western Oklahoma agriculture.”
For Kade Kent, the spring events ended with a new Polaris Ranger. For the FCWO community, they marked another year of shared success — and a reminder of the strength that comes from working together.
