Sproul Family | Isabella, Oklahoma

Ryan and Kristi Sproul are raising the seventh generation of their family in Major County, Oklahoma, where they operate a commercial Red Angus cow-calf operation near Isabella. For Ryan, becoming a beef producer was a natural continuation of the life he grew up in. For Kristi, who also comes from an agricultural background, giving their daughters the same opportunities and rural values they were raised with is one of the most meaningful parts of their work.

The Sprouls first got to know Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma through local involvement and community events, and later partnered with FCWO as they expanded their herd and strengthened their operation. To them, it feels like a true partnership built on trust, communication, and shared goals.

Their loan officer, Cody McMurphy, has known the couple for nearly twenty years and describes them as thoughtful, quality-focused producers who plan carefully and ask the right questions. Cody sees firsthand how challenging it can be for young and beginning farmers to establish themselves in production agriculture and believes Farm Credit’s support plays an important role in helping families like the Sprouls succeed.
For Ryan, the commitment FCWO shows to rural communities is what makes him proud to be a customer. The Sproul family is building a future rooted in agriculture, and Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma is honored to support their work.
